Plan Canada is an international, child-centred development organization working in more than 45 developing countries worldwide, with long-term community programs that benefit 1.3 million children and impact the lives of 13 million people.
Through Planeterra we support Plan’s Bolivia Health Program which concentrates on helping Bolivian families in need of medical support. This five-year initiative will reduce Bolivia’s under-five mortality
rate by providing outreach services to 846 communities, and by improving children’s healthcare in local
health clinics. Through this program, training is provided to 17,300 community health workers, clinics will
be repaired and provisions of medicines and medical equipment will be supplied to 150 health clinics.
Community Education Campaigns through television, radio, events, workshops, educational packages,
videos, and school curriculums will also be developed to reach over 240,000 people.

2007: We raised $3,000 which will provide sufficient medicine and medical supplies to stock 9 health clinics for up to 5 years.
2006: $3,000 in support of Plan's Bolivia Health Program
