 The Open Windows Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities for over 1000 children. All programs are free and open to the general public, with priority given to those who have
greater financial need and who lack the opportunity for education.
The Open Windows Educational Center aims to improve the living conditions of children who come from
poor coffee growing families by providing meaningful education opportunities helping them gain the skills
and confidence to achieve a brighter future. Programs include computer classes, tutoring to improve
reading and writing skills, English classes, a scholarship program, arts and recreational activities and a
bi-monthly health clinic.
Planeterra Donation Breakdown
2007: Our donation of $2,000 will provide materials needed for the day-to-day functions of the center including reference books and materials for their tutoring programs and supplies for the computer lab which supports up to 120 children daily.
