Interested in organizing your own event in support of our projects?

The success of Planeterra projects depends on fundraising efforts and special events planned by generous supporters around the world.  Arranging a fundraiser event is a great way to give back to a community you have visited, or to help support a project that you are passionate about. Planeterra events in the past have included fundraising hikes, penny drives, skydiving for charity, film screenings and more.  Any event can become a fundraiser; the only limit is your creativity.  We would love to hear your fundraising ideas!

F.A.Q's for organizing your own event

Q: How do I market/advertise my event?
A: Contact Planeterra, and we will help you create some marketing materials to help get the word out about your event.  We can help you come up with some creative ideas!

Q: If I collect cheque donations, who should I address them to?
A. We can accept cheques in USD and CAD. Please address them to the Planeterra Foundation.

Q: Are the funds raised matched as with the individual donations?
A: At this time, only individual donations are matched, not those collected through events.
