local Community partners
The term "think globally, act locally" resonates with Planeterra because that we
know that a global movement starts from the ground up. Communities around the
world have been working towards sustainability, toward social progress and
environmental protection for many years. Often they need support to reach their
goals, to ensure everyone in their communities has access to education, to
clean water, to business opportunities, to healthy ecosystems. We work with
several local community groups and projects to help develop sustainable
programs that focus on the needs of local people and give us the ability to
support them through traveller donations, on-the-ground guidance, and through
our travel industry partners.
