Support planeterra projects
By donating to the non-profit Planeterra Foundation, you will help make a difference in the lives of people and communities around the world. The power of your donation is greatly increased through the support of Gap Adventures.
Not only does Gap Adventures pay all of Planeterra’s
administration costs so that 100% of your donation will support the
Planeterra project of your choice, but each donation is matched dollar-for-dollar to double the impact!
200% of your donation goes directly to the people and places you want to help!
TRAVEL & VOLUNTEER
By travelling on one of our Voluntours you have the opportunity to be a part of Planeterra community projects while on tour. These visits are a hands-on experience of true cultural immersion in local communities.

DOLLAR-A-DAY PROGRAM
We have developed a new way for people travelling on a Gap Adventures or Planeterra Voluntour to help us give back. The Dollar-A-Day Program provides travellers with the opportunity to donate one dollar per day for the duration of their trip with 100% of these proceeds going directly to support Planeterra projects.
To participate please indicate at the time of booking your trip that you would like to support the Dollar-A-Day program, either by clicking the check box online, or by advising your Gap Adventures Adventure Specialist or travel agent.
ORGANIZE A PLANETERRA FUNDRAISING EVENT
Fun runs, fun walks, auctions, dinners and bake sales! The Planeterra Foundation relies on money raised through fundraising events from travellers and other donors and we’d love to hear your idea.
