Day 1

 Arrive Rio de Janeiro
Arrive in Rio at any time.

Day 2-6

 Favela Volunteer Program
Experience Rio first-hand while volunteering at a community run day care centre in one of Brazil's largest favelas, where over 50 children are provided with a loving atmosphere to learn and grow, games and educational activities, nutritious meals and health care.
 

Day 7-8

 Free time in Rio de Janeiro
Spend your free time exploring all that the city of Rio has to offer including spectacular beaches and vibrant night life. Enjoy optional activities including the views from the world famous "Christ the Redeemer" statue and Sugar Loaf Mountain, take in a soccer game, go hang gliding or enjoy a Samba show.

Day 9-13

 Volunteer
Continue volunteering at the daycare center alongside women from the community to provide assistance where needed. Responsibilities may include helping out with classroom activities, teaching basic English skills, cooking, playing games with the children and general maintenance of the daycare. No special skills required, just the desire to help.

Day 14

 Depart Rio de Janeiro
