Day 2-9

Volunteer Galapagos

Spend eight days working alongside people from the local community and other international volunteers to build an eco-playground out of recycled materials. Santa Cruz Island, with the largest human population in the Galapagos, has over 7,000 people under the age of 18. Currently, there are not many areas for kids to play other than the beaches, which can be dangerous without supervision.

Help give the children of this island a safe and enjoyable environment to play in. Volunteers work in groups of 2 or 3 people per piece of playground equipment depending on abilities. Enjoy one free day to relax and discover all the island has to offer. Optional activities include a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station, incredible wildlife encounters, swimming, diving and snorkelling.
